L’intelligence artificielle. De quoi s’agit-il vraiment ? ( Sébastien Konieczny et Henri Prade, éd.)

Abstract : L'intelligence artificielle. De quoi s'agit-il vraiment ? Sébastien Konieczny and Henri Prade (editors) Cépaduès éditions, Toulouse, 2020, 100 pages, It has been 70 years since a provocation launched by the mathematician Alan Turing to point out the emerging fields of automation of cognitive capacities, in the magazine Mind, haunts some of our most brilliant minds: "Can machines think? ". The editors of this book have brought together specialists from the CNRS research group on AI to offer the uninitiated an introduction that demystifies this discipline. The media announcements of technological prowess attributed to this discipline give the impression of a disciplinary unity whereas, since its beginnings, very diverse problems and very different techniques have been grouped under the same term.
