Simulation de l'évolution des conversions à l'agriculture biologique dans le département de l'Allier entre 1994 et 1999 par un modèle multi-agents department

Abstract : We present a model allowing to simulate the evolution of the conversions to organic farming in Allier department from 1994 to 1999. The model is made up of investigations carried out in the field as well as various statistical data. It is based on a statistically valid reconstruction of farmers of the department and their situation per district. The social networks of farmers (made up with other farmers and institutional actors) are considered in the model. The conversion decision is modelled like the result of a process including several stages. Social interactions and economic calculations closely mixed in this process. The aim in the long term is to provide prospective trends on the future evolutions of conversions, according to assumptions on the economic and political context.
