Evolution of waste mass resistivity during 3 years of leachate recirculation operations
Résumé
The purpose of this study is to explain the influence of repeated leachate recirculation events on waste mass electrical resistivity. The observations focus on global evolution of resistivity maps and show the same decrease of resistivity for 3 different resistivity lines implemented in the same pilot zone. To date, we can not derive a direct relationship between resistivity reduction and reinjected leachate volumes. Form and size variations of leachate diffusion bulbs formed during reinjection are analysed for 4 different surveys. Leachate recirculation influence on resistivity points located under reinjection pipes is analysed and a weak resistivity value reached by waste mass, equal to 10 .m, can be retained under leachate diffusion.
