A comprehensive support tool was developed for the scoring of farms or slaugterplants. This comprises: - a data collection module to ease the collection of welfare measures on farms or at slaughter; - a module to calculate scores from the data on measures (with formulas developed in WP2.3); - a database to store data and scores (containing data collected in WP2.4); - a user interface (web based) were one can find: Information on the welfare measures performed on farms or at slaughter, Information on how welfare scores are generated, Statistics on farms visited (eg number of farms, distribution of scores), Individual results on measures and scores (access restricted); - a simulation module where one can simulate improvements. A user interface was developed. It can be reached at http://www1.clermont.inra.fr/wq/ This support tool will help the implementation of the Welfare Quality® assessment systems.
