The present invention relates to the field of probiotics. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one bacterial strain pertaining to the genus Propionibacterium for use in the treatment or prevention of mucositis in a subject, preferably for the treatment or prevention of the alteration of tight junctions of epithelial tissue associated with mucositis.
La présente invention concerne le domaine des probiotiques. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne une composition comprenant au moins une souche bactérienne appartenant au genre Propionibacterium pour une utilisation dans le traitement ou la prévention de la mucite chez un sujet, de préférence pour le traitement ou la prévention de l'altération des jonctions serrées du tissu épithélial associé avec mucite.
